Update on the extension of customs clearance authorization

Update on the extension of customs clearance authorization

The Tax Agency has announced that powers of attorney for customs clearance prior to 2 April 2021 that do not have an expiry date will cease to be valid on 2 April 2026, in accordance with the maximum term of validity of five years under Law 39/2015.

An extension may be requested for a period of 5 years. This extension can be processed at:

https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/procedimientoini/ZP02.shtml

If you do not renew, the clearance authorization will lose all effect and the customs broker will no longer be able to act on your behalf before

Customs.

You can continue to use the global authorization or authorize each shipment individually.
