Digitalization and technology in transport:

At World Ocean Cargo Ibérica, we currently use Click and Cargo's ERP, which allows us to create quotes, shipments, files and documentation related to all shipments.

For land transport, we use transport orders.

For air transport, we use air waybills.

For sea transport, we use bills of lading.

We also link the quote to the shipment with its costs and sales. Invoicing, invoice approvals.

Customer and supplier maintenance, incident management, among others.

To find out what the options are in FCL or LCL, we use the Cargofive platform, which is also online and allows us to see the prices of the shipping companies that are integrated with them in real time, or upload contracts. For LCL, we upload contracts with the different consolidators as well as the inlands for land transport.

For export air shipments, we use Webcargo, a tool that allows us to view prices and make reservations for all shipments going by air.

We are also connected to the ports of Barcelona, Valencia, Algeciras, among others, to be able to collect and deliver containers from different shipping companies, weigh them, position them, etc.

For tracking purposes, we use Shipsgo to track all our sea and air shipments. Our customers can view the status of their shipments on our website if they authorise it and receive updates by email.

Our customs agent is connected to Customs to find out if a shipment has already entered the customs area, whether it is export, import, sea, air or land, and to submit documentation if it is orange channel, carry out inspections when it is red channel or sign ATR, EUR, etc.

We are part of four freight forwarder networks, which allow us to send requests to provide the door-to-door services required by our customers.
